What is the parking fee to enter the Park? Is this fee "per vehicle" or "per person"? What does this parking fee include? How much is bus parking?

Parking

Groups or chaperones traveling in personal vehicles are required to purchase a $20 daily parking permit per vehicle.

Bus Parking
Buses/motor coaches traveling with a group with pre-paid tickets must present a final booking confirmation showing payment has been made to have the parking permit fee waived. If the final booking confirmation is not presented, $20 fee will be charged. Public/private schools or government buses with a permanent logo or name printed on the vehicle will have parking permit fee waived. Personal or private vehicles traveling with a school or tour group are required to purchase a parking permit ($20.00 per vehicle) or have an annual parking pass. This includes chaperone vehicles.

I am a Mountain Member, do I have to purchase anything to make a reservation?

No. Member visitation reservations are complimentary. Unless you have PLUS Membership or already have an Annual Parking Pass, you will still need to pay for parking separately. We recommend pre-purchasing parking online to expedite your entry and limit contact at the entrance gates.

How do I replace my parking permit?

Parking Permits will be replaced at a charge of $25.00 if at least half of the old pass with the month shown can be removed from the window and returned to us. If this cannot be accomplished, replacement parking permits will be $40 each. These may be purchased at the Entrance Gates to the Park or at the Main Ticket Plaza.

Do you provide shuttles from the parking lots within the park?

Depending on traffic flow and where you are directed to park, select lots do have a shuttle but due to peak traffic travel times not all parking lots have an assigned shuttle.

Do I have to pay for parking each time I go in and out of the Park?

No. Once you pay the parking fee to enter the Park, you will be given a dated voucher for the windshield of your vehicle that will give you unlimited access to enter and leave the Park as often as you like during your stay.  

Can I leave and return to the Park on the same day without having to pay the parking fee again?

Purchasing a daily parking permit allows you entry and exit for the entire day, but does not guarantee re-entry. Please be aware that re-entry may be difficult on busy days, holidays or during large events. Free re-entry is not permitted during the Fantastic Fourth Celebration or Yellow Daisy Festival.

What is the RV equipped with?

Each RV Rental is equipped with the following:

  • Wood deck

Do you have a playground at the Park?

Yes. The playground is located on Robert E. Lee Blvd approximately 3/4 mile past the West Gate of the Park. Use of the playground is free with your paid parking admission.

What are the benefits of being a Historical Educator?

As a member of the Historical Educator group, the member may visit any of the educational venues listed below as often as they like during the calendar year. They will also receive complimentary parking. Members may also bring one teaching colleague along as their guest. The member and their guest must present a valid ID and the membership card at each venue.

Can I bring alcohol to the park?

Alcohol can be brought to the Park, but is not permitted on streets, in parking lots, or other posted areas. Those other areas include, but are not limited to, attractions, the Lasershow, Pavilions, the Special Events Meadow and the Walk-Up Trail. No glass containers are allowed.

What is the FREE Pre-K Spring/Summer Pass?

The FREE Pre-K Spring Summer Pass is an exciting new program at Stone Mountain Park that ensures kids 3-5 have the opportunity to enjoy our family-friendly park attractions free of charge by offering a complimentary season pass at the time of Activation. These passes are valid for visitation through September 30, 2020.

Daily or Annual parking permit not included.
