Experience Lasershow 2.0, featuring new music, animation, water effects, an immersive laser canopy, and a fleet of robotic drones synced with music in front of the 825-foot mountain face

The special patriotic fireworks finale will immediately follow the Lasershow every night of the celebration!


*Vehicle entry to the park is $15 for a one-day permit or $40 for an annual permit. Note that there will be no free Park re-entry allowed. Guests who leave the Park on July 4 and then wish to return will have to re-pay the $15 Park entry fee.
Please be aware that the Park may close gates to traffic once parking capacity is reached.

When is the Fantastic Fourth Lasershow and fireworks?

2018 Fantastic Fourth Celebration dates coming soon. The Lasershow will begin at 9:30 p.m. and the fireworks immediately follow. The show is the same all four nights.

How much is the Lasershow?

The Lasershow is free with $15 daily parking or a $40 annual pass.  Parking may be purchased online here or at the park on the day of your visit.

Where do I enter the Park?

  • Cars - Enter through the East gate (main entrance on Highway 78) or West gate (James B Rivers Memorial Drive and East Mountain Street).

  • Pedestrians - Enter through the West gate (James B Rivers Memorial Drive and East Mountain Street) ONLY.

Are there designated smoking areas?

Lower Lawn (below train tracks): On the left side near the Cherokee Trail below the South Carolina terrace. Upper Lawn: Outside of the east and west side restrooms. All other areas on the laser lawn are restricted. Please be courteous of non-smoking guests.

Can I bring alcohol to the park?

Alcohol can be brought to the Park, but is not permitted on streets, in parking lots, or other posted areas. Those other areas include, but are not limited to, attractions, the Lasershow, Pavilions, the Special Events Meadow and the Walk-Up Trail. No glass containers are allowed.

Can I bring my own food to the Lasershow?

Yes. You can bring your own food to the Lasershow and picnic on Memorial Lawn prior to the show. Do not bring glass containers, alcohol, or grills, as they are not allowed on the Lawn.

Can I use the Adventure Pass or Adventure Pass Meal Deal to access the attractions during Fantastic Fourth Celebration?


Can I purchase a Lasershow Snack or Dinner terrace seat?

You can purchase a Lasershow Terrace Seating and Dinner Terrace Seating each day of the Fantastic Fourth Celebration excluding July 4th. Only July 4, terraces are open to the public on a first come basis.

Can I leave the Park and come back on July 4?

Guests who leave the Park on July 4 and then wish to return will have to re-pay the $15.00 Park entry fee.

Is high attendance expected on July 4?

Please be advised that the Park typically experiences large crowds on July 4 and it is best to arrive early. The Park will close the gates to traffic once parking capacity is reached.

Can I reserve a pavilion on July 4th?

Due to the heavy traffic and large crowds associated with the 4th of July weekend and holiday, we do not rent any of our Private Picnic Facilities, including the covered pavilions. They cannot be reserved over the July 4th weekend or on July 4th itself and we will not give anyone permission to use these facilities on these dates. While many of these covered pavilions may have been occupied on those dates in prior years, those guests did not have the facility reserved and did not have permission to use the facility.

Dinosaur Explore

Your students will get to meet over 20 giant, moving, roaring, prehistoric creatures in a self-guided tour of the Dinosaur Explore exhibit as well as participate in hands-on, interactive demonstrations.

Summit Skyride

This high-speed Swiss cable car provides a stunning view of the Confederate Memorial Carving as it transports guests more than 825 feet above ground to the top of Stone Mountain. From the top, experience amazing views of the Atlanta skyline, the Appalachian Mountains and more up to 60 miles away.

Learn about Stone Mountain Park's history in a splashy way with Ride The Ducks. Check out the only tour where you go from land to water to land again and you never leave your seat!
