Rosie the Riveter: We Can do It

The Rosie the Riveter program introduces your students to the efforts and sacrifices of American civilians on the World War II home front, including the important role played by American women. Through a classroom presentation, authentic WWII military artifacts and a historic video, students will learn of the many industries in which women played a new role. This program includes a ticket for the Summit Skyride for each attendee.

Minimum Participants: 15

Days Available: April – October, Monday – Friday

Times Available: 10:00 AM & 11:30 AM.

Recommended Grade Levels: 5+ and up (this program is not recommended for groups with attendees ages 10 or under, such as day camps or day cares)

Ride the Ducks are no longer available at Stone Mountain Park and will not be included in this program.
