Programs and Prices

Looking for an educational and fun field trip for your school group? Stone Mountain Park offers several GSE aligned educational programs and special events that are interactive, hands-on and fun for classes from kindergarten through high school. You may choose from one of our daily structured field trips or sign up to attend our annual Native American Festival & Pow-Wow in the Fall. This special educational event is a wonderful celebration and exploration of Native American culture.

We also have ticket options for daycares and offer opportunities for learning about science, geology, environmental science, ecology, social studies and Earth Day with programs at Confederate Hall Historical & Environmental Education Center.

Follow these easy steps to book your field trip!

  1. Select a date and a program that you would like to bring your group to Stone Mountain Park! It is helpful to have a couple of backup dates in mind, just in case we happen to be very busy on certain dates.
  2. Contact the Group Sales office by calling 770-498-5636, email us at or fill out a request form
  3. Payment in full must be received at least 21 days in advance of your visit (30 days in advance of the Native American Festival & Pow Wow). Payments can be made by credit card, check, or school purchase order! This is an essential step to ensuring your reservation.

History Programs at Historic Square

The Historic Square is the perfect place to introduce your students to Georgia history. Here they can learn about Georgia's colonial life, antebellum life or the Civil War all set among historically restored, preserved and relocated buildings from around the state.

Mega Bugs: Bugs Don't Bug Me

The all NEW MEGA BUGS exhibit provides the perfect setting for Stone Mountain Park’s newest STEM field trip. This program will cover a variety of topics, including metamorphic life cycles, the bugs of Georgia, pollinators and ecosystems. 

Native American Festival and Pow-Wow

Come join this unique celebration of Native American culture. Featuring dance, music, authentic craft demonstrations, cooking traditions, storytelling, wildlife presentations and more.

Rosie the Riveter: We Can do It

Introduce your students to the efforts and sacrifices of American civilians on the World War II home front, including the important role played by American women.

Skyride: Soar to New Heights

Visit Stone Mountain Park’s iconic Summit Skyride to learn about the simple machines that help power this high-speed Swiss cable car.
