Historic Square at Stone Mountain Park is a collection of original buildings from around the State of Georgia, built between 1793 and 1875. Each structure was moved from its original site and carefully restored to preserve its authenticity and historical value.Take a self-guided tour and enjoy the sights and smells of the working cookhouse and garden.
Be sure to visit the Farmyard where kids can pet the animals, work with our trainers to learn about animal behavior and come to understand the role of livestock in early Georgia life. The Historic Square also hosts several special events, including the Stone Mountain Native American Festival & Pow-Wow and A Homespun Christmas.
Please note: Direct access to some of the historical buildings is limited by stairs.
Historic Square is included in an All-Attractions Pass and an annual Mountain Membership.
