Come join this unique celebration of Native American culture. On-going activities include: a living history tipi village, life skills and East-meets-West native culture demonstrations, dance and drum exhibitions, live music, wildlife, native foods, weaponry, various arts and crafts demonstrated by renowned native artists and much more.

Indian Festival Only: $10.00 + tax per person (all ages)
Indian Festival + One Attraction: $13.00 + tax per person (all ages)
Indian Festival + Adventure Pass*: $17.00 + tax per person (Kindergarten – 8th Grade); $19.00 + tax per person (9th grade – Adult)

*Capacity is limited for the Scenic Railroad. The train ride will be a one hour experience including walking to the depot, boarding the train and deboarding. There is not a live show on the train ride during Indian Festival. Ride The Ducks is not included on the Adventure Pass.

“Write Your Own Ticket” to the Indian Festival and Pow Wow Thursday, November 4th!
Teachers – Do you want to supplement your student’s curriculum and learn up close and personal about Native American culture at no charge?
Now you can! Stone Mountain Park is committed to bringing the community several GPS aligned educational programs, one of which is the Indian Festival and Pow Wow. In an effort to encourage creative writing and learning, Stone Mountain Park will admit 4 classes from area schools to the Indian Festival and Pow Wow as our complimentary guests on Thursday, November 4th. The classes must provide their own transportation.
What grades are eligible?
This literary competition is open to all Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Florida public and private school educators and principals grades 1 st through 8 th.
What does my class have to do to be eligible?
The teacher will instruct their class to write a creative literary work of 500 words or less on any subject matter pertaining to Native Americans or their culture. It may be a short story, poem, or an essay and may be fiction or non fiction. The teacher will select 5 compositions to represent the class, make copies of them, fill out this entry form and then send to Stone Mountain Park. Entries must be in Stone Mountain Park’s possession no later than Monday September 20th. The classes chosen to be our guests, will be selected by the creativity of their writing and at the sole discretion of Stone Mountain Park judges. The teachers and the classes chosen will be notified by October 1st. Click here to print the entry form.

Make your reservation early. Even if you are pre-paid you can still enter the Write Your Own Ticket to the Indian Festival and Pow-Wow. If your class is selected we will refund the paid portion of the program to you.
