25th Anniversary Lasershow Spectacular

Current Schedule:  Nightly through August 10 at 9:30 PM

This Atlanta tradition, the longest running lasershow in the world, celebrates its silver anniversary with a digitally remastered show.  A new musical score features some all-time favorite tunes and several medleys. The Lasershow is free with your vehicle entry fee to the Park.

Adair’s Southern Fried Shakespeare Company and Rock Solid Country musical revue, a new train show and more!

Fantastic Fourth Celebration

Dates:  July 3-5

Stone Mountain Park explodes with excitement in this annual Independence Day salute. Each evening begins with the 25th Anniversary Lasershow Spectacular featuring a special intro, and is followed by an amazing fireworks display right in front of the mountain! And on the 4th of July, bursts of light will illuminate the sky as fireworks choreographed to music are shot from BOTH the base AND the top of Stone Mountain. The Lasershow and fireworks are free. Parking permit required for vehicle entry to the park - $10.00 for a one-day permit or $35 for an annual permit.

40th Annual Yellow Daisy Festival

Dates:  September 4 - 7 (Thursday - Sunday)

FREE WITH PARK ENTRY! Celebrating its 40th Anniversary the Yellow Daisy Festival has been voted the Nation's #1 Arts & Crafts Show by Sunshine Artist Magazine!  More than 500 artists and crafters from 38 States and two countries display their works for your appreciation and purchase. Daily live entertainment, Children's Corner activities, clogging and crafter demonstrations throughout the event as well as fabulous festival foods.

Chili Cook Off

Date:  September 27

Come to the premiere chili event east of Texas only at Stone Mountain Park . The Chili Cook-Off draws more than 300 teams competing for “Best Of”, “People’s Choice” and “Showmanship” awards in competition categories such as Chili, Brunswick Stew and Cornbread. More than $10,000 in prize money is awarded. Sample the great food and participate in a variety of contests. The event’s proceeds support Camp Twin Lakes , a non-profit that offers year-round recreational, therapeutic and educational programs for children facing serious illnesses and other physical, emotional and life challenges.

23rd Annual Tour of Southern Ghosts

Dates:  October 15-19, 22-26, 29-31

Join the Atlanta family tradition and meet professional storytellers spinning their tales of famous (and not-so-famous) Southern Ghosts along the lantern-lit paths of the Antebellum Plantation grounds at Stone Mountain Park. "A Tour of Southern Ghosts" is held during the Halloween season so the stories are a little scary, many times humorous, but never too frightening and always appropriate for young children.

36th Annual Highland Games

Dates:  October 18-19

The Stone Mountain Highland Games will be held in the meadow at beautiful Stone Mountain for two full days of Scottish fun. Thrill to the Highland Athletic events, Highland Dancing, Piping and Drumming, Scottish Harping. Participate in the Scottish Country Dancing demonstrations, Kirking of the Tartans, Clan Challenge Athletic events and the Parade of Tartans. See Clan and Tartan information tents as well as the many colorful Scottish shops. All events will be held rain or shine! 9th Annual Indian Festival & Pow-Wow

Dates:  November 6 - 9
(School Field Trip Days:  Nov. 6 & 7)

Learn about and experience several aspects of Native American culture through dance & drum competitions, music, authentic craft demonstrations, cooking samples and storytelling activities. The festival, which is the Southeast’s premier event of its kind, provides an educational and interactive experience for guests of all ages and backgrounds.
