When to Come
When we say there’s always something happening at Stone Mountain Park, we mean it. Spring at Stone Mountain Park is as colorful as the season. Summer at the Rock offers amazing ways to enjoy your not-so-lazy day days. During fall, you’ll find family-friendly events that breathe fresh air into your weekends. And winter? Stone Mountain is where the warmest memories are made. Don’t miss the snow angel flying high above the twinkling lights during Stone Mountain Christmas — the biggest holiday celebration this side of the North Pole. And from December to early March, Stone Mountain transforms into Snow Mountain, a one-of-a-kind winter wonderland.
Park Gates are open daily, 6:00 AM – Midnight. However, attraction operating hours vary. All Park attractions are closed on December 24 & 25.

Where to Stay
Stone Mountain Park offers two hotels inside the Park, both operated by Marriott. The 336-room Evergreen Conference Resort is a full service facility with two pools, fitness center, a spa and full meeting amenities.
The 92-room Stone Mountain Inn is a colonial style inn located in the center of the Park, close to all Park attractions and the Lasershow Spectacular.
Experience Georgia’s number one campground, as rated by Woodalls. Stone Mountain Park’s family-friendly campground has 431 campsites - 202 with full hook-ups (water/electric/sewer) for RV's; 191 partial hook-ups (water/electric) for tents, pop-ups and RV's; plus 56 primitive tent sites. The campground features a small grocery store, laundry and shower facilities, a swimming pool and a playground.

How to Get Here
The Park is located 8 miles east of I-285 on U.S. Highway 78. The main entrance to the Park is located at exit #8 off Highway 78. Driving directions from every major highway and interstate in metro Atlanta can be found in the Maps & Directions section of the web site.
Once you are inside the Park, you will be provided with a Driving Map to help you locate attractions, hotels or other activities.

Stone Mountain Park is home to a variety of unique shops featuring handmade crafts and signature Park souvenirs for every member of the family. Stroll through the shops in Crossroads where several demonstrating crafters will create brilliant works of art right before your eyes, including beautiful glass pieces and delicious candy.
