Team Building Stone Mountain Park

Win the Gold

In Stone Mountain Park, Win the Gold combines adventure, learning, teamwork and space technology to create one of the hottest competitive team building experiences your team will ever engage in.

Win the Gold's challenge is simple: each team is given the same amount of time and the same amount of resources to see who can win the most "Gold" by learning how to work as a high performance team—fast—or become a team lost in the woods and in need of serious rescuing.

Here's how Win the Gold works. Teams assemble at a specific Park location, and receive a Mission Briefing that includes special Park maps, adventure equipment, supplies and communication devices. Then, with great ceremony, they are given the golden Key, their most precious tool to strike it rich—a global positioning system unit, or GPS unit, pre-programmed with the precise coordinates of various "waypoints" that must be found to Win the Gold.

As they embark on their quest, surprises await them, because at each waypoint—if they are even able to find it—winning the Gold will not be easy. Each waypoint location requires a task to be solved, and calls on the team to use increasing levels of leadership, communication, planning, strategy, ingenuity, and full-on teamwork if they are going to Win the Gold at each waypoint and continue on their Mission.

Constant opportunity and danger will beset each team’s journey too. There are major bonus waypoints along the way where failure is just not an option, for these locations contain vital navigation clues to Mother Lodes that can put them out in front of the other teams—instantly.

Also, there are waypoints where the team risks losing their precious GPS unit for failing to execute the task before them. These challenges call for the team to summon forth high levels of team trust, accountability, support, commitment, and risk taking.

Win the Gold concludes with all teams converging on a final Challenge Waypoint, where they are asked to harvest their most amazing discoveries about the power of teamwork and share those with their fellow competitors. They are also challenged to engage in one final Win the Gold event that can help well-organized teams win massive bonuses and could catapult them into the Winner's Circle.

Win the Gold: teamwork and space technology combine to show us how we possess an awesome power to make good things happen—when we work together.
