The Amazing Scavenger Hunts
Looking for a fun way to challenge, motivate, and inspire your people, and have them experience working in teams? Then consider one of our Amazing Park Scavenger Hunts!
The Amazing Huntsusually custom designed for your group's size and budgetcan use many features and attractions in the Park, like the Crossroads® area, the Great Barn®, the Scenic Railroad, the Mountain and Skyride, and many more. * Also, our Amazing Scavenger Hunts can imbed your company’s theme, messages, history, products, and services in many creative ways.
Each Amazing Park Scavenger Hunt usually involves small teams who navigate progressively through the Park’s various sites and terrain to amass points or simulated revenue for the successful completion of each Hunt challenge, or retrieve special information or equipment they will need to solve the Hunt’s final Ultimate Challenge.
Hunts are fun but competitive timed events, and resourcefulness under pressure is a key outcome for the day. Although each team is given all kinds of resources, maps, clues, and guidance, they will need to suck it up and demonstrate how effectively they can develop a strategy, make an attack plan, assign resources, make decisions, solve fun problems, communicate over distances, deal with all types of change and uncertainty, but truly HAVE FUN as they get more and more fired up to meet each new challenge thrown along their path.
The Amazing Hunts usually conclude with an Ultimate Challenge to solve. As teams convene at the designated Hunt Headquarters or picnic Pavilion, they work (usually over beers and Pump-Up-The-Jam music) to solve the final Ultimate Challenge with whatever information and stuff they have gathered. If some essential items may be missing from their search, teams often need to trade, barter, exchange, jury-rig, or (Heaven forbid!) even steal what they need to nail that final assignment.
The Amazing Park Hunts usually end with a wacky award ceremony for the top place finishers, and post Hunt festivities often include a grand cookout and Happy Hour. And some teams stay on for the Park’s amazing Laser Showa great way to end a great day!
