Looking for an educational and fun field trip for your school group? Stone Mountain Park offers several GPS aligned educational programs and special events that are interactive, hands-on and fun for classes from kindergarten through high school. You may choose from one of our daily structured field trips or sign up to attend our annual Native American Festival & Pow-Wow in the Fall. This special educational event is a wonderful celebration and exploration of Native American culture. Homeschool students may also participate in any of these education events or attend a special Homeschool Day at the park.
Payment in full must be received at least 21 days in advance of your visit (30 days in advance of the Native American Festival & Pow Wow). Payments can be made by credit card, check, or school purchase order! This is an essential step to ensuring your reservation.
The Historic Square is the perfect place to introduce your students to Georgia history. Here they can learn about Georgia's colonial life, antebellum life or the Civil War all set among historically restored, preserved and relocated buildings from around the state.
Experience multiple levels of suspended rope bridges and net tunnels on Geyser Towers®. Trek through the treetops on SkyHike®, climb aboard the Scenic Railroad, engage your senses during a 4-D movie, plus more!
